Maggot Therapy Webinar - August 16, 2011
The first Maggot Therapy Webinar will premier August 16, 2011 at 12:noon PST (3:pm EST). Now you and your colleagues will be able to see our lectures without traveling long distances. Course Objective:
Participants who successfully complete the webinar will learn -
1) Why maggot therapy is used today, with increasing frequency.
2) The mechanisms underlying maggots' affects on wounds.
3) How the therapist "controls" maggots, to make them therapeutic.
4) Indications, contraindications, and warnings, when using maggot dressings.
Target Audience:
Physicians, nurses, physical therapists, home health care providers, and any other wound care provider interested in maggot therapy.
