Sales pick up again for Biotherapy Textbook
Springer announced this month that their Biotherapy textbook History, Principles and Practice; A Practical Guide to the Diagnosis and Treatment of Disease using Living Organisms increased sales in 2016 over 2015. This is unusual for a textbook, especially one of relatively limited appeal. Nevertheless, its chapters were downloaded from the Springer website 3,135 times in 2016, and a total of over 12,000 times since its release. This does not even include book sales through Amazon and other retail outlets.
We are excited by this news, because most of the authors (see list of editors/ authors below) are BTER Foundation members who are carrying out the Foundation’s mission by advancing the science and sharing the knowledge of biotherapy.
If you have read the book or even just a chapter, please take this opportunity to review the book on your own website or directly on Amazon.com. If you have not yet seen the book, take a look, now. You can download individual chapters from Springer.com, or purchase a hard copy of the book from Springer.com or Amazon.com. Electronic versions are also available from Amazon Kindle Downloads, Google Play, and other vendors.
