Announcing the 2011 Biotherapy Video Contest
Various forms of biotherapy have been practiced for thousands of years, yet many people are not well informed about biotherapy and its current practices. The purpose of the Biotherapy Video Contest is to inspire the creation, dissemination, and publication of informative videos presenting biotherapy.
To enter, access the contest website, complete the official entry form and submit it and the video as directed. Submitted videos should define, teach, illustrate, or discuss maggot debridement therapy, leech therapy, bee venom therapy, or any of the other biotherapies. Entries must be submitted no later than 11:59PM Pacific Time on November 30, 2011. Contestants may enter as many videos as they wish.
Qualified individuals from the BTER Foundation, or its designees, will select the ten finalists, which will then be posted on the contest website, on the BTER Foundation’s YouTube* page, and on the Foundation’s Facebook* fan page. To determine first, second, and third place, voting will be open to the public.
The ten finalists will each receive free membership to the BTER Foundation for a year, a value of up to $125. First, second, and third place will receive checks for $300, $200, and $100, respectively. The prize money was donated by a grant from Monarch Labs.
