Cover Letter – Maheswaran Easwaran (posted 6/23/17)

Dear Sir/Mam,
I am, Maheswaran Easwaran, worked as a research Scholar (Post-doctoral fellow) in Chungnam National University, Republic of Korea. I like to join in your research division.
My research background has prepared me to be an active and productive candidate in the field Virology, Vaccine study, Molecular biology, Microbiology, and Immunology. Even, I am very interesting to learn new techniques from your research lab.
My research work for my Ph.D thesis is “Functional analysis of novel lytic phage EcSw and its recombinant lysin pEcLy, its potential for phage therapy”.  From this study, I have a lot of experience in animal models such as Zebrafish (Aeromonas hydrophilla and Aeromonas salmonocida) and Mice (Escherichia coli O157:H7). I have experience in the identification of virulent phage from natural environment and animal waste, which has somehow more activity and stability than previous reported phages. I had applied to get the patent for those newly identified phages.
Moreover, I have experience in molecular techniques in virology and microbiology especially production of vaccine using pseudotyped virus (Retro-viral system) and mutant studies (site-directed mutagenesis), respectively.
As a member, I can provide:
·         Enthusiastically hard work in a highly diverse and collaborative environment
·         Technical skills to solve research problems
·         Sharing of my molecular, cellular biology, and virology experiences.
I wish to build on my achievements and take on a position in the field of Phage based therapy. I enclosed my CV, if you are satisfied with my candidature, I wish to apply for a position to join in your esteemed group. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
I am looking forward to your positive reply.
Thank you
Maheswaran Easwaran
