What is the difference between hirudotherapy and leech therapy?
Hirudotherapy and leech therapy are the same: the medicinal application of leeches. Hirudotherapy gets its name from the scientific name of the most commonly used leeches: Hirudo medicinalis and Hirudo verbana (also known as Hirudo medicinalis verbana).
