Farm animals and humans have a unique and long-standing relationship. In an upcoming webinar (April 10th, 10:00 – 11:30 MST), presented by Suzanne Kapral, attendees will learn about the benefits and problems of farm animal assisted interventions. The presentation will explore the ethical and moral aspects of working with farm animals, and will also present ways to respect the animals involved. Presenters will also provide evidence-based information aimed at ensuring the safety of both humans and these animals. The webinar will also explore how farm animal assisted interventions can be integrated in therapeutic programs using the Five Domains of Animal Welfare.
